With over 20 years of experience of caring and attending to those in need, Vanessa has a passionate commitment since childhood of caring for people and always knew she would work in a service capacity involving eldercare.

"All of my life, I have cared for the people around me, family or neighbors. I've worked in nursing homes and convalescent centers. I was a pharmacy technician in the Air Force. I was a trouble shooter and claims specialist in the health insurance industry. I was an executive secretary for leaders in the group health and financial planning industry. As an administrator and director since 1987 in the home health care field, my experience shows in the quality of our services. Finding the best caregivers and being a great matchmaker in this industry is thrilling to me. I love making people’s lives easier.”

Care At Home has developed a compassionate, effective support system for clients and people with special needs. “We focus on the client's care with their families and closely monitor their relationships with the caregivers. We are on call 24 hours a day.”

She loves to sing and is an active member of the Seattle Women’s Chorus, the West Seattle Senior Center, the Audubon Society, Union of Concerned Scientists and the National Parks Association.
